2011 CFL Fantasy Football Rankings

Quarterback Rankings

Darian Durant was the best fantasy football player. The next group of Burris, Calvillo and Glenn are all very close. Ray is next, the last 4 QBs can get drafted in almost any order.

  1. Darian Durant – Saskatchewan Roughriders
Durant was easily the top fantasy QB last year, setting career highs in all categories, while leading all QB's in yards passing (5,542), yards rushing (618), rushing TD's (7) as well as passing for 25 TD's. He is still young and is the best dual threat in the game. He will be the top fantasy QB once again this year.
  2. Henry Burris – Calgary Stampeders
Burris was the 2nd best fantasy QB last year and will most likely be again. Burris will pass for at least 4,500 yards and rush for over 400 yards while passing for at least 30 TDs.
  3. Anthony Calvillo – Montreal Alouettes
Year in year out Calvillo is one of the best fantasy QB's with the best corps of receivers. In only 15 games last year he passed for 4,839 yards and 32 TDs, those numbers are just awesome. He needs roughly 4,200 yards to become the all time leading passer in CFL history. Despite battling thyroid cancer last year, Calvillo should have another great season.
  4. Kevin Glenn – Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Glenn finished with the 2nd most passing yards and TD passes last year and should come close to equaling those numbers this year.
  5. Ricky Ray – Edmonton Eskimos
Ray was horrible last year, putting up the worst numbers of his career. Look for Ray to bounce back and be better this year.
  6. Travis Lulay – BC Lions
With no Casey Printers to battle, look for Lulay to be the starter for the whole season. He should put up some solid numbers.
  7. Cleo Lemon/Steven Jyles – Toronto Argonauts
The battle for starting QB in Toronto will be tight, Jyles has more upside, but whoever wins should be a decent option.
  8. Buck Pierce – Winnipeg Blue Bombers
The only battle for playing time will be his own health. If he can somehow stay healthy he could be a productive QB.
