Week 5: Start 'Em

Though these players might normally be on your fantasy bench, they might be worth starting this week. This week's picks include Christian Ponder, Jackie Battle, Justin Blackmon, Domenik Hixon, and Jeremy Kerley.

After starting the season slow (with only 4 receptions for 52 yards in the first two weeks), Fred Davis has started to come on the last two weeks, with 11 receptions for 160 yards and now leads the Redskins with 15 receptions. While rookie QB RG3 has been talked about for his big plays, it has been Fred Davis who has become his go to when he needs a 1st down. This week Davis faces a Falcons defense who just gave up 6 receptions for 89 yards and 1 TD to Carolina TE Greg Olsen. Davis not only makes for a good start as a TE, but also as a flex starter.

Injury Status: Injured Reserve

After producing for the first three weeks of the season with 13 receptions for 138 yards and 3 touchdowns, Rudolph tailed off in week 4, putting up a real snoozer with 2 catches for only 8 yards and no touchdowns. Look for Kyle to change that this Sunday as he has a real juicy match up vs. the Tennessee Titans. So far this season, the Titans have given up over 250 yards and a whopping 5 touchdowns to TEs and haven't looked like they have the slightest clue how to defend one in the red zone. If you have Rudolph, he is a great start this coming week as a TE or Flex, especially in standard scoring leagues.
