When the Ravens traded receiver Anquan Boldin in the off season, the expectation was that tight end Dennis Pitta would help lessen the blow and be the new red zone target. That all ended when Pitta was injured in the pre-season and missed the first 12 games of the season. Pitta finally returned to action last week, and it was obvious after one game how much he helps the Ravens offense. Against the Vikings last week, Pitta caught six passes for 48 yards and a touchdown. This week he has a good match up vs. the Lions, so if you are in need of a flex or TE, Pitta could be your man.

Jacob Tamme has a long history of being productive when on the field with Peyton Manning, His best games and seasons were when given the chance to be one of Manning's go-to targets. So far the 2013 season hasn't been that way for Tamme, as the Broncos have three studs at receiver and an up and coming tight end in Julius Thomas. That could change this week, after Wes Welker suffered his second concussion of the season last Sunday and it looks like he will likely miss the match up vs. the Chargers. If Welker does in fact sit out, Tamme would become the man in the slot and that's a good thing. Last week in half a game he caught four passes for 47 yards. If you are in need of a TE this week, Tamme could be the man.
