Week 7: Player Upgrades

The passers, runners and receivers rising the short and long term fantasy football ranks This week's picks include Profiled players include Andy Dalton, Nick Foles, Andre Ellington, Stevan Ridley, and Riley Cooper.

No, the Raiders still aren't any good, but Moore sure is. Touchdowns in back-to-back games and only one game with less than four catches – Moore has begun to emerge as a consistent and explosive option in the Raiders' passing attack. He's averaging 16 yards per catch and has upcoming matchups against the Eagles and Giants in the next month. The Eagles give up more fantasy points to receivers than anyone and the Giants surrender the ninth most. Do the math and play him.

In the coming weeks, the Vikings face a string of teams who give up major points to opposing tight ends. Minnesota gets the Giants (5th most points to TEs), Packers (9th), Cowboys (3rd) and Redskins (12th). That paves the way for Rudolph, who is coming off his best game of the season. Rudolph almost equaled his entire season output by catching nine balls for 97 yards and the Vikings' lone touchdown against the Panthers. Re-insert him into your lineup and expect a turnaround to what has been a completely disappointing season for what was one of the higher rated tight ends coming into the year.
