Week 11 DraftKings Daily Fantasy Strategy Advice Article

While this article is targeted towards those who've decided to give our weekly game a try, I keep getting great feedback that it's helping players in their regular fantasy league too. First, for those not familiar with the contest, let me get you up to speed. If you already know the drill, skip down to this week's Secret Stars.

We decided to partner with DraftKings to provide our Weekly Games for our FFToolbox Community. We're very happy with this decision as our players are DOMINATING! Super simple to play.

First - Open an account at DraftKings. CLICK HERE - You can open an account with as little as $0 and play a FREE ROLL to give it a try, or even $5, but I'd throw $10 to $20 in and hopefully you start playing on house money from then on. That's the idea.

Second - Create a lineup for this Sunday/Monday's games. Pick 9 players - 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX (RB-WR-TE) 1 PK and 1 DST. It will look like below:

Third - Sit back and watch your leaderboard/s on Sunday and win!

STRATEGY: Many players play different strategies. In my opinion, the trick is to find a player (or two) that is "undervalued" and load up on the right stud players at the other positions. So for example last week, my teams did well because I had Peyton Manning, Pierre Thomas and Demaryius Thomas as my anchors, but I would have won a truckload had my sleeper Garrett Graham came through. Ugggh..

Yes last Monday night, I needed Mike James to get 5 fantasy points to play for the Million bucks week 16, and well.. you know what happened. 4 points and the cart, but I'm bound and determined to win my way in this week! It's happening so here goes.

Week 11 Secret Stars

QB Ryan Tannehill -- $6,500 - Where the "Hill" is the ground game? No clue and I don't even care. What I see is a SWEET matchup vs the 5th worst defense against the pass. Tannehill will post 20 points against the San Diego secondary. The only reservation I have is deciding which WR to anchor to Tannehill. Mike Wallace, Hartline or the newcomer Rishard Matthews. Also considered Carson Palmer vs JAX $6,100.

RB Maurice Jones Drew - $5,500 - MJD is back. He's not his old self by any stretch, but the team is leaning on him big time. 40 carries and 10 receptions in the last two weeks. Regardless what he's doing with them, that's volume and that will equate to a nice fantasy day. Yes it's a tough matchup. Arizona has only allowed two running backs this year to rush for 90+ yards (Lynch and Gore) but that's more of a product of their schedule (Rams/Lions/Saints/Bucs/Panthers/Falcons and Texans (without Foster) Also considered: Shane Vereen $5,000 @ CAR. Yes the Panther Defense is stout, but Vereen is a game changer that can score off the pass.

WR Andre Roberts - $3,000 - Roberts is a good football player with a great opportunity to shine this week. I'm a little shocked to see that his salary was not adjusted. I'd expect this to be one of the most popular picks at the Wide Receiver position this week. I'd guess 30-40% of DraftKings players will use him. With Michael Floyd likely out this week, expect Palmer to look Roberts way early and often against a Jacksonville team that really struggles against the pass. Also considered: DeAndre Hopkins vs OAK. Case Keenum will make some noise this week by throwing to both of his big, talented wide receivers.

TE Heath Miller $3,200 vs DET - I Love matchups against high scoring teams like Detroit. Yes the Steelers have been throwing to their wide receivers and Miller seems to have been the forgotten man of late, but Miller is due. In front of the home crowd, expect to hear "HEAAAATH!" being shouted from the stands. I'll take a shot on the veteran this week. Also considered: John Carlson $3,000 in a revenge game vs SEA. Can he do it two weeks in a row?

DST - Texans D $3,800 vs Oakland - Terrelle Pryor is not healthy right now and it's going to show up big time. If Pryor can't run the ball, this team is in trouble and the Texans Defense will absolutely T-Off on this squad. Look for a 15-20 point game minimum from the Texans this weekend.

Good luck this weekend! Here's the Link to the Week 11 Contest!
