Sunday injury update: DeAngelo Williams, Michael Turner inactive
A number of quality players are iffy for today's early games. While players such as Steve Jackson, Roddy White and Reggie Bush are active and will play, there are a couple of big names on the week 13 the inactive list. The most surprising name is Carolina Panthers' running back DeAngelo Williams. He didn't practice all week due to a sprained ankle, but we heard that head coach John Fox expected him to play. But Charles Chandler of the Charlotte Observer is tweeting that Williams is inactive for today's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In news that was a little more expected, Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner is inactive for today's game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a sprained ankle. He may miss more than one game after re-aggravating his ankle sprain from a few weeks ago.
Fantasy Analysis:
Jonathan Stewart becomes a tremendous play against the Bucs' poor defense now as he will likely get upwards of 20 carries. Just make sure that you can get DeAngelo out of your lineup. Jason Snelling will reportedly get the start in Turner's place, but Jerious Norwood will get plenty of work as well. I actually like Norwood's explosiveness more than Snelling against the Eagles' tough defense
