Vince Young likely to play Sunday
A new week with a new injury shouldn't mean anything new for Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young. This week, as with last week's game versus St. Louis, Young is likely to play despite being bothered by a right leg injury. Young didn't practice Wednesday due to a strained right hamstring, but there was optimism about his recovery. He said the hamstring "feels way better" than it did earlier this week. Running back Chris Johnson said, "[Young] told me he was going to play,'' Johnson said. "So I expect him to be out there. … I don't think he would lie to me." Head coach Jeff Fisher wouldn't commit to Young or Kerry Collins as the starter for Sunday's game against Miami, but all indications are that Young will get the nod. In week 13, he hurt his right knee against the Indianapolis Colts. He was well enough to start in week 14, but had to leave early after straining his hamstring during a long run.
Dec. 17 update: Young returned to practice Thursday and is still expected to start Sunday against Miami.
Fantasy Analysis:
Young is a fine start as a No. 2 QB in a two-quarterback league. His athleticism makes him at least a decent play in any match-up; Just know that he carries a lot of risk with him. He has been rather fragile in his short NFL career, so a chance of re-injury is realistic.
