Buccaneers RB LeGarrette Blount likely out for multiple games

LeGarrette Blount is optimistically listed as doubtful to play in week six because of his knee injury. And the exact nature of that knee injury will probably keep him sidelined through the Buccaneers' bye in week eight. Sources of out Tampa reported on Thursday that Blount has a torn MCL. Such injuries usually keep players out of action for two-to-six weeks. The initial reaction has been that the team will hold Blount out through the bye and that he won't play again until week nine versus the New Orleans Saints.

Fantasy Analysis:

For the time being, Blount owners will need to pick up Earnest Graham . Yeah, he's 31 and hasn't done much of anything on the field as a runner since 2008. But Graham does do one thing valuable to fantasy owners exceptionally well: catch. He's already caught 23 passes this season. In PPR leagues, I think he's a low-end RB2 this week against the Saints. Otherwise, he's a decent flex. Kregg Lumpkin should also see an increase in work.
Blount is now expected to miss this week's game against the Saints as well as week seven against the Bears.
