Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson
may have already checked out on the 2011 season, but it sounds like he wants to play in the season finale against the Houston Texans. He didn't practice on Wednesday, but Johnson did tell beat reporters that his sprained ankle feels "much better," and the plan is for him to practice before the end of the week.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Texans may rest many of their defensive starters in this game, meaning Johnson and his offensive line will be going against backups for the majority of the day. But really, do you want to ride with him in a championship week? Just look at what he did against Jacksonville last week -- 56 yards on 15 carries, no catches, and he just didn't look like he wanted to be out on the field at all. Yeah, he hasn't gotten much help from Matt Hasselbeck or his line this year, but his desire to succeed seems to be at a new low. I think Johnson is a low-end RB2 in week 17.
