As expected, Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker
will be unavailable for this weekend's Divisional Round playoff game against the New England Patriots. He injured his knee during Sunday's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, and initial thoughts were that he had torn his ACL. Decker had instead sprained his MCL, but he didn't practice at all this week.
Fantasy Analysis:
Even if the Broncos beat the Patriots and move on to the AFC Championship, Decker will most likely miss that game as well, given the nature of MCL sprains; they usually take at least three weeks from which to recover. And Decker's sprain may be relatively severe. Eddie Royal
will start in his place, and he has a great matchup against that Patriots secondary, but Demaryius Thomas
will continue to be Tim Tebow's most frequent target on the outside.
