Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson
played on a damaged ankle that required surgery in 2010. Then he was forced to miss nine games last season due to two seperate hamstring injuries, and surgery was involved there as well. Now the latest word on Johnson is about another surgery, one performed earlier this month on his left knee. Johnson said Monday that he will be out for about 3-to-4 weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery.
"Right now, everything is just focusing on making sure everything is right before I get back out here," Johnson said. "Nothing to panic about."
Fantasy Analysis:
Whatever you say, AJ. He should be fine in plenty of time for training camp, but it's difficult to ignore the injury trends occurring with him. When healthy, there's no doubt that the 30-year-old has the skills to be the No. 1 fantasy WR. But that position is SO deep with talent this year, there's no use in risking it with a guy with very real injury concerns. Much like with what I said about Kenny Britt last week, Johnson would have to come at a bargain price for me to draft him.
