Titans WR Kenny Britt has surgery on other knee

In 2011, Titans WR Kenny Britt @KennyBritt_18 tore both his ACL and MCL in his right knee in the 3rd game of season. After having arthroscopic surgery in May to clear up some swelling in that same knee, Britt again went under the knife in June on his left knee to help with discomfort and swelling after the team's minicamp. Britt was well on his way to WR1 numbers in 2011 before the knee injury, amassing 289 yards receiving and 3 TDs. Since the initial surgery in September of 2011, Britt has seen the operating room 2 more times in a 10 month span.

Fantasy Analysis:

Britt should be garnering much different attention heading into his 4th season, but the 3 knee surgeries in 10 months have me concerned. Undoubtedly there will be some loss of explosion as Britt continues to get healthy and Britt's size should help compensate for that, but until I see Britt on the field I am staying away. Questions at the QB position for the Titans are not helping either, leaving me with a wait and see attitude for the uber-talented WR. Further damning, Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt is suggesting Britt may begin the season on the team's PUP list, making the decision even easier for owners. There is just too much depth at WR this season to take a chance on Britt at his current going rate.
