Maybe we've got some clarification on how the New York Jets specifically plan to use Tim Tebow
this season. ESPN's Rich Cimini wrote Thursday that "team insiders say the plan is to use Tebow in the red zone, where they can replace Sanchez with another player/blocker to bolster the running game."
Fantasy Analysis:
For fantasy purposes, this is basically bad news for everyone involved except Tebow. Mark Sanchez
will throw fewer touchdowns. Santonio Holmes
will catch fewer passes and touchdowns -- I'm sure he'll love that. Same goes for Dustin Keller
. Shonn Greene will lose those valuable goal-line carries. Now, it could mean 12-15 scores for Tebow, but he's not going to see more than 15-20 snaps per game. Tebow won't be starter-worthy in a 12-team league unless (until) he gets the starting job. It's looking like a bad year to own a Jet.
