Beat writer Tony Grossi projects supplemental rookie draft pick Josh Gordon as a starting wide receiver. Gordon certainly was the raw talent for the gig, but it is highly questionable if he'll be ready by week 1. The Baylor product hasn't played since the 2010 season and didn't join the Browns until after the offseason program. Picking up Pat Shurmur's West Coast offense is going to be a challenge. We wouldn't be surprised if Mohamed Massaquoi
begins the year opposite Greg Little
before eventually giving way to Gordon.
Fantasy Analysis:
If this is indeed true, Gordon fits in nicely as a late round flier or early waiver wire pickup. In a very young offense filled with 1st or 2nd year players he could be a very sneaky pickup in dynasty leagues as well. With Richardson dominating the ball carries, this will give rookie Brandon Weeden
another young player to grow with along with Little.
