Cleveland signs RB Trent Richardson

Per ProFootballtalk.com, the deal is fully guaranteed, and includes $13.341 million signing bonus. The pact contains no offset language. Considered by many to be the best running back prospect since Adrian Peterson, Richardson is expected to serve as a bellcow from day 1 for the Browns, who ranked 28th in the league in rushing last season.

Fantasy Analysis:

This was a no brainer as the Browns traded a lot to move up 1 spot to ensure the services of Richardson. The Browns were desperate for a running back and Trent filled the bill in many ways. Being billed as the best since A.P., Richardson has high hopes for the future and for his future owners. He is worthy of a high pick in redraft leagues and should be #1 in Dynasty/Keeper formats. He could approach 300 carries in his rookie year.
