Ravens OT McKinnie a surprise no-show at camp

OT Bryant McKinnie was a surprise no-show at the first practice of Ravens training camp.

Fantasy Analysis:

This is indeed a surprise. McKinnie was given a 2nd chance of life after ballooning to almost 400 pounds and being released last season by the Minnesota Vikings. McKinnie showed progress throughout the year and dropped considerable weight and helped the Baltimore Ravens to within a dropped touchdown by Lee Evans in the AFC Championship Game of reaching the Super Bowl. Coach Jim Harbaugh stated that he is dealing with a personal issue and he is not sure when he will show up. This is the same guy who made the Pro Bowl and did not show up for the game a few years ago while with the Minnesota Vikings. McKinnie must not be running on a full deck. McKinnie did show up at mini-camp 9 pounds overweight, so once again it sounds like Bryant cannot keep in condition during the offseason. This will directly influence the productivity of Joe Flacco @TeamFlacco and Ray Rice @RayRice27. Michael Oher has been moved to the left side for the time being.
