Texans WR Andre Johnson is healthy, motivated, aiming for 1,500 yards

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson @johnson80 was arguably the NFL's best wideout from 2008-09, posting at least 100 catches and 1,500 yards in each of those seasons. Injuries have bitten him since then. This was especially true when a pair of hamstring strains limited Johnson to just seven games in 2011. He also underwent a left knee scope in May. But Johnson, 31, said Friday that he is healthy and ready to reach those high marks again. He told reporters that he's targeting 1,500 yards and 100 catches, and feels like he has something to prove when Texans training camp opens Saturday.
"I'm just pumped because I missed a lot of time last year," Johnson said. "(I've) been hearing things about people saying I'm getting old and stuff like that. I know that I can still play at a high level. I know that I can still put up big numbers."

Fantasy Analysis:

Andre is still being drafted often in the top-5 among WRs. I'm a huge supporter of his, but I think that's a little much considering his recent injury history and the strong depth at that position this year. However, there is something very enticing about owning an Andre Johnson with a chip on his shoulder.

Lets hope it's not a chipped shoulder period...")
