We're about 10 days shy of the one-year anniversary when Detroit Lions running back Mikel Leshoure
tore his Achilles tendon. Today, Leshoure was sidelined by another leg ailment. It's nowhere near as dire, but it could nag him depending on its severity. Leshoure had to leave Saturday's practice due to a hamstring injury. He is day-to-day.
Fantasy Analysis:
Leshoure might miss a few days; you never know with hamstring strains. It's not too pressing in the big picture of things, but you would just like to see him go a few weeks without pulling up lame for some reason. Don't forget that Leshoure also had ankle injury during June OTAs. I wouldn't call it a trend yet, but this is just something to file away for when you consider Leshoure in your drafts. With Jahvid Best
currently on the active/PUP list, Kevin Smith
has been the Lions' No. 1 RB in camp. He's someone to track since the two players who should be in front of him on the depth chart can't get/stay healthy.
