Ravens TE Dennis Pitta suffers broken hand

Baltimore Ravens TE Dennis PItta suffered a broken hand during Mondays practice.

Fantasy Analysis:

This puts playing in week 1 in doubt. This is a shame because Pitta really picked up his game during the 2nd half of last season. It seemed as if quarterback Joe Flacco @TeamFlacco gained more confidence in Pitta as the season progressed and Pitta looked good in the playoffs. Coach Harbaugh is "hopeful" that PItta can play in week 1. Even if he can play in week 1, this dampens his fantasy outlook and it should also improve the fantasy outlook for fellow tight end Ed Dickson @EdDickson84. Pitta would likely need a few weeks to get back up to speed. FFToolbox had Dickson at #22 for tight ends and Pitta at #29. You can feel safe to bump Dickson up the rankings and Pitta down the rankings because of the injury.
