Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy revealed Sunday night that wide receiver Greg Jennings
suffered a concussion during a Friday night scrimmage. Jennings didn't practice on Sunday, but no decision has been made on Jennings' playing status for Thursday's preseason game against the San Diego Chargers.
Fantasy Analysis:
I wouldn't expect to see Jennings participate Thursday since he'll need to pass a battery of tests and be cleared by an independent neurologist. Plus, it's the first preseason game of the year; Jennings probably wouldn't have played more than one series anyway. I don't know the severity of Jennings' concussion, but there is no such thing as a mild concussion, and they can certainly linger. Good thing we're a month away from the regular season. Jennings remains a strong WR1.
