Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson
is practicing again after missing eight days due to a strained right groin muscle. Johnson was on the field for about 20 plays during Monday's practice. Head coach Gary Kubiak said Johnson "looked good," according to Stephanie Stradley of the Houston Chronicle. The team hasn't yet decided if Johnson will be active for its first preseason game, which comes Saturday night versus the Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy Analysis:
Hey, at this point, it's a victory that Johnson made it through the day without pulling, straining or spraining something else. He retains top-3 upside because of what he can do when healthy. But it's hard to overlook what has happened to Johnson in the past year. He is FFToolbox's No. 5 WR. I probably wouldn't take him that high, but that's only because when it comes to early round picks, I am a very cautious drafter.
