Browns RB Trent Richardson has soreness in surgically repaired knee

It could be nothing. But if this is anything more than nothing, it's a big deal.
Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson had surgery back in February to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. Half a year later and Richardson is experiencing some soreness in that knee that has his status for the team's first preseason game in doubt. Richardson sat out of practice Tuesday.
"I'm always concerned about injuries, but at this point we'll just find out what it is," head coach Pat Shurmur said of Richardson. "He's been practicing well. Just a little sore."
The Browns will play the the Detroit Lions on Friday night.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Browns are expected to lean heavily on the rookie this season. So it's a tad troubling that he's already got some pain, no matter how slight it may be. You can't fret about Richardson's durability yet, and he's still a lock to be drafted as a top-10 running back. But this is something that is worth tracking with the hopes that it doesn't turn into something worse.
