Oakland Raiders running back Mike Goodson
was taken to the hospital following a helmet-to-helmet collision with teammate Philip Wheeler on Tuesday. Goodson reportedly lost feeling in his arms and legs briefly. CBS insider Jason La Canfora tweeted that Goodson is now "doing well and expected to be fine." He should be back to practice by the end of the week. Goodson's CT scan and MRI both were negative.
Fantasy Analysis:
Goodson has the inside track on the No. 2 spot behind Darren McFadden
and ahead of second-year speedster Taiwan Jones
. Given McFadden's injury concerns, the primary backup spot in Oakland should be considered a very desirable fantasy spot. It's almost a preconceived notion that McFadden will miss a handful of games per season and Goodson has plenty of potential as an everydown back after flashing some talent in 2010 with the Carolina Panthers.
