New England Patriots rookie defensive end Chandler Jones
pressured the quarterback five times in only 14 plays. The Syracuse product is an imposing physical presence with a long frame and good first step. New Orleans Saints offensive tackle was called for holding on back-to-back plays while trying to block Jones. He said later in that game, "I think [Jones is] going to be a good player in this league. It was a battle out there. I think he has a bright future ahead of him."
Fantasy Analysis:
Jones shot up draft boards during the evaluation process. He has a brother, Arthur, who plays with the Baltimore Ravens and another brother Jon, who just so happens to be the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. With such an interesting pedigree, the expectations are quickly rising. He may need a year or two to develop an all-around game but rushing the passer shouldn't be a problem. In dynasty IDP leagues, he should be considered one of the top choices of all the rookie defensive linemen.
