Cleveland Browns wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi
, who has been concussed at least once in each of the past two seasons, suffered a concussion in Friday's preseason game versus Detroit. Massaquoi caught an 11-yard pass on the Browns' first play from scrimmage, but Lions defensive back Erik Coleman also caught him pretty well. Massaquoi was escorted to the locker room shortly thereafter.
Fantasy Analysis:
Even when he's had his head on straight, Massquoi has never been much of a fantasy contributor. He's been a total bust since a decent 2009 season, and while he was expected to hold off rookie Josh Gordon for a while, Massaquoi might now find himself out of the Browns' starting lineup if he can't come back quickly from this latest episode. He's reportedly had a good training camp, but the concussions are mounting, and they have to be a huge concern for both him and the team.
Greg Little
remains one of my favorite sleeper/WR3 targets in drafts while Gordon could be worth an add-and-stash if he is able to shake off the rust and deal with the speed of the NFL early on. Massaquoi shouldn't be on your radar anyway.
