Dolphins WR Chad Johnson is now ex-Dolphins WR Chad Johnson

Well that was fast. The Dolphins released Chad Johnson @ochocinco one day after the veteran receiver was arrested in a domestic battery incident involving his wife, the Associated Press reported.

Fantasy Analysis:

HBO is likely asking for a refund because Hard Knocks will not be nearly as interesting once Ocho is off the air. Also less interesting without Johnson, the Dolphins receiving corps (not they were Season 4 of Breaking Bad intriguing to begin with anyway. Davone Bess is interesting as a WR4 in PPR and when Brian Hartline returns from his calf injury he could perhaps...you know what, let's not go there. This leftover group is brutal, like the Browns wide outs are mocking this unit's upside brutal. Maybe Ryan Tannehill can spark something here, but that's a lot to ask say Tom Brady let alone a rookie QB. Perhaps free agent Plaxico Burress now gets a call, we'll see. As for the reported head-butting Johnson, it wouldn't be stunning if this is the last we saw of him on a NFL roster, but then again who would have guessed Terrell Owens (and Randy Moss!) would be back. Drop him from your draft lists and then go back to do anything else, like watching Season 5 of Breaking Bad.
