This is bad news for the Cincinnati Bengals defense. The Bengals were a top ten defense last year and were looking to move up with some key additions this year in the NFL Draft. You can knock the Bengals defense down a few notches now with the injury to Dunlap, plus the injuries already suffered by cornerbacks Leon Hall and Dre Kirkpatrick . With a key pass rusher like Dunlap out, the Cincinnati pass rush will be weaker and you can expect teams to try and pass more and exploit the injuries suffered in the secondary. The defense as a whole got older and slower because of the replacements for the injured starters. Look for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco to try and hook up early and often with his wide receivers in week 1.
