Several sources are reporting that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace
will report before the regular season begins.
Fantasy Analysis:
The struggles and the holdout for a new contract did not get the job done for Wallace. He will now be behind the 8-ball in learning the new system implemented by new offensive coordinator Todd Haley as fast as he can. It is possible that the 2 sides get a deal done once Wallace does show up, that has been the Steelers stance all along. Teammate Antonio Brown
signed a new 5-year contract while Wallace held out and he actually finished the season better than Wallace did. Brown may start off the season as the #1. Emmanuel Sanders
has been starting in place of Wallace and has looked good so far. It was reported that Wallace was working out on his own to stay in shape, but he may have an uphill battle to start the season. Wallace has the talent to be a WR #1 in fantasy, but how will the holdout play out on the field?? You should knock him down your ranikings unless he reports very soon!!
