Bills TE Scott Chandler looking like a favored target

For those forlorn owners of Jason Witten, maybe the Buffalo Bills have an option for you. According to Bills insider Joe Buscaglia, tight end Scott Chandler @scottchandler84 has been one of the team's two MVPs during training camp.
"Easy catches, tough catches in traffic -- if doesn't matter," Buscaglia said. "Chandler has roped everything in and become one of Ryan Fitzpatrick's two favorite targets. He looks primed to have a better season than his last one."

Fantasy Analysis:

Similar sentiments were expressed during OTAs and minicamps about Chandler.
Chandler was purely a short-touchdown option for the first month of last season before fading into obscurity. He finished with 38 catches in 13 games, 389 yards and six scores -- four of which came in September. But consider the Bills' other receiving options. Outside of Steve Johnson, there's not much here. Head coach Chan Gailey has even hinted at using a rotation of guys at the No. 2 WR spot. Maybe Chandler becomes an outlet that Fitzpatrick trusts and relies on consistently. He's still well into the TE2 range, but he's a name worth watching if your starting tight end, like Witten, is felled by injury.
