Wide receiver Terrell Owens
is dead last on the Seattle Seahawks depth chart. The team released the news for the first preseason opener, so it likely does not reflect what Seattle might do if this game counted. Also of note, Sidney Rice
and Doug Baldwin
occupy the bottom of the WR2 depth chart. Not a lot of information can be gleaned from a preseason game's depth chart so speculation is very high right now.
Fantasy Analysis:
Head coach Pete Carroll and his coaching staff are obviously trying to keep things under wraps a bit and at the same time, this functions to give young players an opportunity to step up or fall. Currently Golden Tate
and Ben Obomanu
are the starters, along with Deon Butler and Kris Durham behind them respectively. Braylon Edwards
is currently listed third. Someone needs to step up because there a lot of receivers and only a handful of roster spots.
