New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley
left practice yesterday after suffering a right knee or possible leg injury. Tight end Aaron Hernandez
pulled up and walked gingerly after running two pass routes during 7-on-7 drills. Details are sparse, but both injuries did not appear to be serious. Ridley stayed in uniform and on the sideline for the remainder of practice.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Patriots are usually low-key when discussing injuries, especially when they aren't required to discuss them. These sorts of injuries happen all the time so until something more substantive comes out confirming there is a larger issue, there should be little reason for concern. Ridley appears to have a stronghold on the team's starting spot and Hernandez is a consensus Top 5 player at his position. Neither player should be downgraded on your draft board for now.
