UPDATE: Colts WR Austin Collie did indeed suffer concussion

Phillip Wilson of the Indianapolis Star is reporting via Twitter that during a conference call with Colts' head coach Chuck Pagano, Austin Collie @AKCollie_17 did indeed suffer a concussion in last night's preseason game versus the Steelers. Pagano noted Collie was feeling good today and is listed as day-to-day.

Fantasy Analysis:

This is Collie's 4th concussion in the last 21 months and as previously noted, he lost essentially the entire 2010 season because of concussions. While this certainly does not mean an end to Collie's season, or even career, it will be worth it to watch the situation as it unfolds. There is no timetable for return for concussions and obviously Collie will have to pass a series of tests before he is cleared for contact again. Indy Star reporter Phillip Wilson noted while the concussion could be the end for Collie, "I won't jump so far so quickly." It is important to note too, day-to-day does not necessarily mean the Brigham Young standout will be back sooner rather than later. Keep an eye on the Collie situation as he is worth a draft pick in all league types assuming he is able to take the field again.
