UPDATE: Eagles QB Mike Vick feels fine, x-rays negative

During Philadelphia's preseason game on Monday night, quarterback Michael Vick @MikeVick took a big hit to his chest from Patriots DT Kyle Love. A source close to the team told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk that Vick has no concerns about suiting up for Week One. The Eagles announced last night that the x-rays were negative and later today, tests will be done to check Vick's rib cartilage.

Fantasy Analysis:

This is the give and take of Vick. He can do things no other player can do and in exchange, he leaves himself vulnerable to big injuries. The Eagles could really use left tackle Jason Peters, but he's currently injured. Defenses continue to pressure Vick from all angles to slow down his quick feet. For now, Vick shouldn't be downgraded in your draft but this is a rude reminder he's almost guaranteed to miss a couple games in 2012.
