Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin undergoes 'little' hamstring cleanup

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin @DougBaldwinJr won't play in Friday's preseason game -- the team's third -- after having what head coach Pete Carroll called a "little procedure" performed on his ailing hamstring. Carroll said he doesn't know if Baldwin will be able to play in the team's fourth preseason game but that he should be able to practice without limitations next week. This hamstring injury has already forced Baldwin to miss two preseason games.

Fantasy Analysis:

Even with no preseason action, Baldwin seems like the Seahawks' undisputed slot wide receiver. I think he'll be the top producer in fantasy among Seattle wideouts, but we'll have to make sure he's 100 percent first. Bad hamstrings are problematic because it doesn't take much to re-injure them, so be cautious with Baldwin at your draft. But he's a guy you can get in the late rounds, stash on your bench and wait on until he gets healthy. The payoff could be totally worth it.
