Titans WR Kenny Britt is getting closer

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt @KennyBritt_18 said Tuesday that his knees are getting better, but that there are good days and bad days. Britt is trying to come back from three knee surgeries in the last 11 months -- two on his right knee, one on the left. He tore the ACL and MCL in his right knee last September, but he said it's the left knee, the one which was operated on in June to remove damaged cartilage, that is giving him the most problems these days.
"Hopefully, I'll get back for the first week of the regular season or maybe even closer than that," Britt told TitansInsider.com. "I'm just taking it a day at a time."
Britt's knees are not healthy enough yet for him to be taken off the Physically Unable to Perform list.

Fantasy Analysis:

There are quite a few high-risk, high-reward receivers out there this year -- Andre Johnson, Miles Austin, Hakeem Nicks. But maybe Britt carries the highest risk with the highest reward. We've seen him be a dominant force in this game. But he's coming off of all those knee operations, still isn't able to practice with the team and is looking at a multi-week suspension for his many off-field errors of judgment. He has fallen into WR3 territory in drafts and while I think it's unlikely, I can't deny that he has the ability to give you WR1 numbers. I just don't know when his knees will be at full strength this season. I don't think the Titans know that either.
