Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe will get 'couple of plays here and there' Friday

Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe @DwayneBowe82 is not in football shape after holding out until Aug. 17. The Chiefs know this. They know that Bowe has had just three days of practice, two days in full pads. But head coach Romeo Crennel still wants to see Bowe in a game this week. Crennel said Wednesday that he will give Bowe 'a couple of plays here and there' Friday night against the Seattle Seahawks. Crennel said Bowe isn't ready to play 60 minutes yet, but if everything goes well this week, he might see more playing time than other veterans usually would in the fourth preseason game.

Fantasy Analysis:

According to FFToolbox's average draft position chart, Bowe is the No. 22 WR off the board right now, between Miles Austin and Vincent Jackson. That's too low. Granted, he might be rusty for a bit, but unlike Austin, there's no reason to think he'll miss any regular-season games. Bowe should be drafted around the mid-teens among wide receivers. He is Kansas City's clear No. 1 wideout and can be dominant at times. I would rather have him than Percy Harvin, who is currently the No. 17 WR drafted on average.
