Cleveland Browns team president Mike Holmgren doesn't want to rush Trent Richardson back on the field. But the team is expecting to see Richardson rushing on the field Sept. 9 versus the Philadelphia Eagles. That's what a team source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Thursday. The source also said that even though Richardson is expected to play, his carries will be limited so that he can continue to recover from his Aug. 9 arthroscopic left knee surgery.
Fantasy Analysis:
We're still a little more than two weeks away, but it's looking better for Richardson. No guarantees yet, but better. Montario Hardesty
should be handcuffed to T-Rich if you are inclined to take him early in your draft. Richardson has dropped into the early portions of the third round, according to FFToolbox's ADP chart, which is good value if what the source said turns out to be true. I'm sure we'll have another rumor/update about Richardson's status pretty soon.
