QB Vince Young cut by Bills

The Buffalo Bills signed Vince Young
in May to become their backup quarterback. Turns out, he couldn't even make it as the third-stringer. Young was released Monday, two days after a two-interception performance in the team's third preseason game. He had a preseason QB rating of 48.2.
Fantasy Analysis:
Young seemed to be the favorite to win that No. 2 QB job for most of the summer, but he just never got comfortable in Chan Gailey's offense. In the minds of Bills coaches, he couldn't even be out Tyler Thigpen
and became expendable when they traded for Tarvaris Jackson
on Sunday. At 29 years old, I expect Young to be given one more chance to compete as a backup for some quarterback-starved team. But barring an injury to one or a couple of teammates, his days as a starter in this league are long gone, as is his fantasy appeal.
