According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, you shouldn't expect Robert Meachem's departure during free agency to mean that many more receptions for Jimmy Graham or Marques Colston. Times-Picayune writer Mike Triplett put out a fantasy football alert on New Orleans Saints wide receiver Lance Moore
. He said Moore would be the "biggest beneficiary" as a result of Meachem's move to the West Coast.
Fantasy Analysis:
I remember the days not too long ago when, if Reggie Bush was unavailable, Moore became Drew Brees' favorite short-yardage target. Even today, Moore still has Brees' eye around the goal line. He scored eight times in each of the past two seasons and crossed the stripe 10 times in '08. He's had some injury problems in the last few years, but he's healthy now and seems to have impressed coaches more than Devery Henderson. With the inside track on the No. 3 WR gig in that aerial game, Moore is an intriguing sleeper.
