More information is coming to light about what exactly is holding Cincinnati Bengals running back Bernard Scott out of preseason games. Specifically, he underwent surgery to fix whatever was broken in his hand. And head coach Marvin Lewis said Tuesday that when Scott gets the screws removed from his hand will play a big part in deciding when he'll be able to play again.
"He's working on conditioning, working on carrying the ball and doing those things he's go to do now," Lewis said of Scott.
Fantasy Analysis:
For what it's worth, Scott has told Lewis that he'll be able to play in Week 1. We'll see Until Scott can play, BenJarvus Green-Ellis
will see an increase in carries. If he can get hot early, maybe BJG-E can hold off Scott for the majority of the season. But I still hate this duo in drafts. Neither guy is that interesting to me, and I think it's going to be a timeshare.
