In case you hadn't heard, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is in the midst of a holdout and doesn't look to be returning anytime soon. This leaves the Jags short on the depth chart and it has been speculated that the team may be intrested in free agent back Ryan Grant. The Green Bay Packers let him go back in May and he's been looking for a job since. After tweeting a photo of a jaguar, the rumor was that the Jaguars were interested in him. That is not the case.
Fantasy Analysis:
Grant was never that great and by this time, if a team really needed or wanted him, he'd have been signed by now. The Jaguars already have Rashad Jennings ready to start in place of MJD. Behind Jennings, they have a small group of no-name players, no offense to them. Apparently the coaching staff feels they can rely on those players without adding Grant into the mix.
