Suddenly, every NFL beat writer in America is wondering if the tight end for their team can be the next Rob Gronkowski. In Cincinnati, offensive coordianator Jay Gruden said it's possible for Jermaine Gresham
to become something like that because of his talent and athleticism. But Gruden wants Gresham to concentrate on more than just receptions and touchdowns.
"He doesn't understand blocking is important, too," Gruden said of Gresham. "We need to stay with what we do. Don't get caught up in statistics. If we win, who cares? ... Jermaine's a good blocker. Fantasy football people forget that."
Fantasy Analysis:
We don't forget about it; we just don't care much. Since when has a blocking tight end helped you win a fantasy league? Gronkowski is a good blocker as well, but he also has a much, much better quarterback throwing to him. Gresham has a lot of upside, considering how he is used in the Bengals' offense, he is a fringe TE1 at best.
