Packers RB Cedric Benson probably won't be used on third downs

While the Green Bay Packers would like running back Cedric Benson
to be a three-down player, it's just not in the cards. Running backs coach Alex Van Pelt told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that it would be nice if Benson could stay on the field at all times but, "I don't think he's done a lot of third down."
Fantasy Analysis:
Well, no. But we understand that. The Packers can go with either Alex Green
or John Kuhn or Brandon Saine on third downs. Benson has never been that type of player. He's not a good blocker and has 106 receptions in 91 games. This lack of versatility is included in Benson's fantasy stock. He's going to play solely on early downs, but that's good enough to make him a very strong flex or possibly a low-end RB2. With James Starks
still unable to go because of turf toe, the starting job belongs to Benson, and there's not a lot of competition.
