Cowboys WRs Miles Austin, Dez Bryant practice Saturday

Jason Witten wasn't the only hurting Dallas Cowboys skill player who practiced on Saturday. He was joined on the field by wide receivers Miles Austin @MilesAustinIII and Dez Bryant @DezBryant. It represented Austin's first practice since Aug. 5 because of a hamstring injury. Bryant has mild patella tendinitis.
Since the Cowboys don't have to release a practice report until Sunday, it is not known how much activity the two receivers had during the session. According to ESPN Dallas, Bryant was wearing a sleeve on his right knee, and all players were in full pads.

Fantasy Analysis:

This is much bigger news for Austin than Bryant. We knew Bryant was going to be active on Wednesday, and I expect him to have a crazy-good season.
It's a good sign that Austin is able to put in any kind of practice this early in the game-week preparations. I think he's more likely to play in Week 1 than Witten, but Austin will probably see a limited number of snaps. The Cowboys and fantasy owners can't ignore how hamstring strains have impacted his career in the past year. If you took Austin as a WR2 in your draft, I think you'll end up getting some return on your investment, but be prepared for a couple of games with small outputs until he gets back up to speed. Since he hasn't practiced in almost four weeks, it's going to take some time. From there, just hope his hamstrings hold up. Austin is a massive high-risk, high-reward player.
