New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks didn't take part in Sunday's practice. This comes after he did practice Saturday.
Nicks said recently that he is still feeling pain in his surgically repaired foot but also said he feels like he can play a full game. He'll have his opportunity Wednesday night against the Dallas Cowboys. The Giants will practice again Monday with hopes that Nicks can join them.
Fantasy Analysis:
More than likely, this is just the Giants making sure Nicks doesn't re-injure himself prior to the Cowboys game and giving him a day off. Although I think he will play and should be started in all fantasy leagues Wednesday, we'll have a much better idea of Nicks' status for Week 1 depending on how much he practices tomorrow, if at all. It's encouraging that head coach Tom Coughlin said Nicks should be able to practice then.
