Cleveland Browns rookie running back Trent Richardson is back at practice on Monday. This is his first practice since the first week of August. It was at that time that Richardson had his knee scoped which put his early season playing status in jeopardy. It's been speculated in the media that Richardson would only see a few carries in Week 1, assuming he were to play at all. Keep an eye on Richardson's injury status as the week progresses.
Fantasy Analysis:
Once Richardson goes through the full practice week, we'll have a much better idea about whether he can play or not. Friday is the important injury report to keep an eye on and it's more or less a lock that he'll be listed as questionable and end up a game-time decision. This is assuming there are no setbacks but the thing to watch is how his body responds to Monday's practice on Tuesday. There might be swelling or some other issue that could cause Richardson to not play at all in Week 1. Either way, it will all unfold this week so don't make final decision on whether to start or sit him until the weekend.
