Giants WR Hakeem Nicks misses another practice, still expected to play

It's usually not a good sign when an injured player misses the last two practices prior to a game. But for Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, it's all part of the plan. He didn't practice on Sunday or Monday, but head coach Tom Coughlin said he expects Nicks to be active Wednesday versus the Cowboys.
Nicks also remains confident about his playing status. He plans to see "about 60 plays" Wednesday despite missing a lot of time due to a broken foot.
"It feels fine," Nicks told the Newark Star-Ledger. "There should be no problem come gametime. I should be ready to go."

Fantasy Analysis:

Although Miles Austin has gotten more practice time in this week, I would feel more comfortable starting Nicks if I had to pick between the two hampered wideouts. The Cowboys' secondary shouldn't be quite the sieve it was last season, but the Giants' passing game should find a lot of success nonetheless. There have been no reports of the Giants cutting down on Nicks' Week 1 workload, so he's a strong WR1.
