It looks like Seahawks wide receiver Braylon Edwards
will get quite a bit of playing time in the short term. While he shared snaps with Golden Tate
during the preseason, Tate is expected to miss two weeks because of a knee injury he suffered in the team's preseason finale Thursday, a source tells the Seattle Times. Sidney Rice remains the Seahawks' No. 1 wideout.
Fantasy Analysis:
My personal favorite, Doug Baldwin, will continue to work out of the slot. Tate reportedly hasn't impressed coaches enough to earn more playing time. I think he's better than Edwards at their respective stages, but it speaks volumes when he's listed behind Edwards on the official depth chart. Now that he won't play at all in Week 1 and perhaps Week 2, Edwards becomes an option for deep leaguers. But past Baldwin, I'm not a fan of anyone in this situation.
