The Redskins released a revised depth chart Monday that displayed Evan Royster
as the No. 1 running back. He was followed by Roy Helu
and Alfred Morris
, in that order.
Fantasy Analysis:
Take a picture; it will last longer. Royster wouldn't even bite when asked by the Washington Post if this means he will start Sunday in New Orleans, saying that he thinks Redskins coaches won't reveal who is the official starter to any of the three backs until the night before the game. Each of them have played well at times during the preseason, but nobody has really separated themselves in this race, so to be the starter is just a title. I would still hitch my wagon to Helu if I had a choice, but this could be a full-blown three-man committee until someone breaks through. And even then, it's Mike Shanahan. Just try to stay away.
