Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart
has yet to practice nine days after spraining his right ankle. But he will travel with the team to Tampa Bay for Sunday's game, and head coach Ron Rivera said Tuesday that Stewart is progressing at a good pace.
"It's coming along very well," Rivera said of Stewart's ankle. "He moved around an awful lot yesterday, so he was a little bit sore today -- a little bit more than we anticipated. He's moving around nicely. We are very encouraged."
Fantasy Analysis:
Stewart didn't practice Tuesday, but it's so early in the game week, I don't really care about his practice reports until Thursday or Friday. At best, he looks like a game-time decision right now. I think he'll be limited, making DeAngelo Williams
a really nice start against a Buccaneers defense that ranked last against the run in 2011.
